Last year, the company acquired Josero, bringing hardware under the Soyang brand as Soyang Hardware. As a result, the company is able to demonstrate its own media on the hardware it supplies. Soyang will be showcasing a range of materials for UV, solvent, eco-solvent, and dye-sublimation. The company also offers environmental solutions such as textiles made from recycled yarn and PVCfree banner materials. Andrew Simmons, sales director of Soyang Media, comments: “We chose to exhibit at The Print Show because we’ve got such a vast range of media and hardware options. We want to be seen to be supporting the industry and we want to show everyone what we have to offer. “The big push will be on the sustainability side of the media, so we have textiles made from recycled yarns and we have PVC-free banner materials which are becoming more and more popular. It’s certainly a growth area in the industry and is something we’ll keep developing moving forward.” On the hardware side, Soyang Hardware will be showcasing Mimaki’s latest direct-to-film printer, the TxF300-75 along with a shaker unit. Designs will be pressed on the stand using a heat press to demonstrate the full end-to-end process. Other products will also be demonstrated such as bottle openers, showing the vast range of applications possible. Also on show will be UV rollto-roll and solvent roll-to-roll machines as well as a Bubblefree flatbed application table which Soyang is the exclusive UK distributor for. Sarah Fenna, sales director of Soyang Hardware, adds: “We’re really looking forward to being at The Print Show this year. It’s going to be great to be back at the NEC and we have some new products to show everybody! “The Print Show is a great opportunity for us to reach a wide range of customers, with it being a local show. So therefore we’ve chosen to bring a mixture of machines along which will hopefully suit everyone’s requirements.” You can find the team on Stand E01 Encore to demo state-of-the-art finishing kit Encore Machinery will showcase the latest in creasing, folding, laminating, coating, perfect binding, case-making, and box-making at The Print Show 2024.
