Technotrans - Hall 1, Booth B10 Technotrans will present cooling and fluid technologies for offset, digital, and flexographic printing under the theme ‘Empowering the Future of Print’. One of these innovations being shown is the refrigerant R290 as well as insights into how customer proximity and service quality can be increased through digitalisation. Being presented for the first time is the alpha.c combination unit for dampening solution preparation and ink unit temperature control with the natural refrigerant R290. Also on show will be the beta.c eco combination unit with high-precision measurement, control, dosing technology, and effective water inlet control; and a resource-saving dampening solution purification system that requires no consumables. For thermal management, technotrans will be focusing on its new ECOtec.chiller xtend with natural refrigerant R290, and for packaging printing applications the company will be presenting integrated cooling systems for UV drying units. Toyo Ink Europe Specialty Chemicals - Hall 8A, Booth C01 Toyo Ink Europe Specialty Chemicals, part of the artience group, will partner with its sister subsidiaries Toyocolor Co (Japan), Toyo Ink India Pvt, and Tianjin Toyo Ink Co (China) to show updates to its inkjet inks at drupa. The artience group will feature its inkjet portfolio solvent-based, UV, and UV LED inks for outdoor signage applications, as well as water-based, UV, and UV LED inks for packaging. In addition, the group will provide a preview of its next-generation inkjet systems and processes with the lowest possible environmental impact including advanced UV LED and low-energy-drying, waterbased solutions. Vivid Laminating Technologies - Hall 6, Booth A21 Building on the success of its patented Veloblade technology, Vivid Laminating Technologies will launch the Veloton cutting system at drupa. Alongside demonstrating how the Veloton will enable users to enhance their cutting speed in a single pass, Vivid will be showing the patented VeloTaper taping system as well as the multi-patented Easymount Hybrid Laminator with unique Hover technology. Showcasing three new patented innovations at drupa, Vivid aims to show visitors how automated processes can elevate their businesses. Xeikon – Hall 11, Booth A01 – A02 Digital production manufacturer for the packaging and graphic arts industries, Xeikon, will demonstrate solutions across four key print markets. Within flexible packaging, corrugated packaging, graphic arts, and label printing, Xeikon has made significant developments such as de-inkable print technologies; and LED inks that mitigate hazardous waste and lower energy consumption. Xeikon has also developed innovative toner formulations compatible with markets such as paper-based flexible packaging and toner compositions utilising over 60% recycled content. The company will be showcasing these innovations on its booth at drupa including its Xeikon TITON solution which ensures food safety even when printing on paperbased flexible packaging. Also on show will be Xeikon’s IDERA technology for corrugated packaging which delivers a food-safe solution within the post-print corrugated environment. Xeikon will also show its SIRUIS platform, a fifth-generation dry toner single-pass-duplex platform, and the Panther (UV inkjet) and LION (dry toner) technologies for label printing. XSYS - Hall 8B, A30 Supplier of flexographic and letterpress pre-press solutions, XSYS will launch three new solutions and show its full range of products. XSYS will exclusively launch the nyloflex eco series, Catena ProServX, and new prepress software solutions in line with its drive towards “a greener future for print and packaging”. The recently launched nyloflex FTV plate will also be shown. This is an LED-optimised, inherent flat-top dot plate engineered specifically for the high-quality flexible packaging market. For automated plate processing, XSYS will show its award-winning ThermoFlexX Catena+ with live demonstrations taking place several times a day on the booth. In terms of software, XSYS will be announcing new components for its prepress equipment modules for higher levels of digitalisation. Zünd - Hall 1, Booth D40 The manufacturer will highlight how its cutting solutions can be combined with intelligent software and automated material handling for efficient and cost-effective finishing. Making its trade show premiere will be the new Q-Line generation of cutters with Board Handling System BHS180 and integrated UNDERCAM optical capturing system. Now in its third generation, UNDERCAM will also be presented with a Zünd G3 cutter at drupa. Also on show will be Zünd’s new board-loading extension. Complete with UNDERCAM, this enables semi-automatic board feeding, job identification, and registration during the production process. The manufacturer will also be exhibiting workflow automation solutions including Caldera PrimeCenter which enables simple and automated print and cut file preparation. Visitors to the Zünd booth will also be able to see how they can use the revamped Zünd Cut Center (ZCC) to control robots and automatically pick and sort finished parts. This will be demonstrated with the Robot PortaTable 130 from Zünd partner Robotfactory.
