Konica Minolta - Hall 8B, Booth A40-1 – A40-6 Konica Minolta has promised to “shape the future of label printing, packaging, and industrial printing” with the launch of 20 solutions at drupa 2024. The company will have one of the largest stands at the exhibition taking 2,400sq m of space and six interlinked areas across two floors. Included in the significant lineup will be the next-generation AccurioJet 60000 highspeed UV inkjet press capable of 6,000 sheets per hour and duplex printing; and the AccurioPress C84hc which uses high chroma toner for vivid colour. Konica Minolta will also introduce MYIRO colour management tools for graphics arts applications developed by Konica Minolta’s Sensing Business Unit. MGI will show how foiling, varnishing, printing, folding, and drying can be combined into a single fully integrated production run as well as showcasing its new JetSeal and in-line die-cutter. The company will also launch an advanced version of its AccurioPro Colour Manager software suite. Konica Minolta will also be running fully automated production lines driven by AI as well as the “never-before-seen” use of robotics and the premiere of a Cobot arm. Kyocera Document Solutions Europe - Hall 8A, Booth C20 Kyocera Document Solutions Europe will debut the TASKalfa Pro 55000c. The brand-new cut-sheet inkjet press will be unveiled in Europe for the first time having been revealed at the Printing United Expo 2023 in the US and also in Japan. Other solutions on show will be the TASKalfa Pro 15000c which has been successful since it was launched in November 2019. Kyocera will also introduce the inkjet print engine of Kyocera Nixka Inkjet SysDualSTAR can inspect web materials like films, but also printed materials – ideal for the converting sector. Kodak - Hall 5, Booth A02 Kodak will demonstrate technologies for both digital inkjet printing and traditional offset printing. The manufacturer will be highlighting its KODAK PROSPER ULTRA 250 press, powered by KODAK ULTRASTREAM continuous inkjet technology. This high-speed press, which is driven by the KODAK 900 Print Manager and integrated with the KODAK PRINERGY workflow, will be demonstrated with the newly launched versatile KODAK manufactured pre- and post-press finishing solution. The PRINERGY platform will play a key role at Kodak’s booth due to providing a single, integrated, and future-proof workflow solution that consolidates production across digital and analog. Features of the newly announced PRINERGY version 11.0 will be highlighted. Debuting at drupa will be the new wide-width KODAK PROSPER imprinting solutions for hybrid packaging and commercial print applications. For traditional offset, Kodak is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its KODAK SONORA Process Free Plates. Koenig & Bauer will be using KODAK SONORA Process Free plates on its Rapida during the show (Hall 15, Booth E02). Komori Corporation - Hall 14, Booth D60 Komori Corporation will debut its new 29” sheetfed UV inkjet digital press, the J-throne 29. Offering printing speeds of 6,000 sheets per hour for single-sided printing, Komori says the J-throne 29 offers “the world’s highest-class ROI”. For double-sided printHeidelberger Druckmaschinen - Hall 1, Booth C30-1 – C30-5 The focus for Heidelberg at drupa 2024 according to chief executive officer Dr. Ludwin Monz will be: Innovation, Inspiration, and Networking. According to Monz, the manufacturer will be presenting solutions to address three main challenges: increasing cost pressure, a shortage of skilled workers, and rising sustainability requirements. Heidelberg will also be presenting technologies that save energy and reduce the consumption of raw materials in response to the growing demands for sustainable solutions. HP - Hall 17, Booth A01-1 – A01-9 HP will use its presence at drupa 2024 to highlight the latest in its large-format portfolio including its Latex range. In using HP Latex, print service providers can print onto virtually any substrate for signage, vehicle wraps, decorative applications, interior design, stickers, and posters. HP’s Latex inks offer sustainability benefits and are environmentally certified, meeting Greenguard Gold, UL ECOLOGO certification, and EPEAT registration. HP is also an official partner of touchpoint packaging and will be presenting innovations in packaging solutions along with other companies on Booth B31 in Hall 3. ISRA VISION - Hall 10, Booth A28 Machine vision company, ISRA VISION, will present a number of developments from its inline inspection solutions offering. Included in the showcase will be a new version of PrintSTAR EVO, a system for inspecting web materials for flexible packaging. New to this version is a ‘Static Code Reading’ function which enables users to check the legibility of barcodes and QR codes. Another new feature is the ‘Touch&Inspect’ graphical user interface which is now also available for CartonSTAR, the inspection solution for corrugated board printing.
