32 email: news@printmonthly.co.uk May / June 2024 - Issue 348 Fujifilm returns to The Print Show 2024 After a successful year exhibiting at The Print Show in 2023 with a 240sq m stand, Fujifilm will return to the event this September. Last year, the manufacturer had an unmissable presence despite being at the back of the hall due to having the largest single exhibitor stand in the history of The Print Show. Fujifilm used the space to demonstrate its growing range of digital print solutions for commercial, wide-format, and packaging print markets. The newly launched Revoria range of digital toner solutions was on show including the flagship, award-winning 6-colour Revoria Press PC1120. Fujifilm’s new XMF PressReady digital workflow solution was also on show. Since the last show, Fujifilm has made many new announcements including the launch of the world’s first B2+ dry toner press, the Revoria Press CG12500 this spring as well as the new JetPress FP970 digital press for flexible packaging successfully completing beta at Eco Flexibles. Fujifilm has also recently launched the new 46kUV inkjet Printbar System and is celebrating its 90th year in business with a new official company purpose: Giving Our World More Smiles. Commenting on Fujifilm’s decision to return to The Print Show in 2024, Andy Kent, division manager of Fujifilm UK, says: “It felt that taking on The Print Show in 2023 was a little bit of a risk, maybe a punt in some ways, because we hadn’t done one since 2014. But we felt the time was right. It was good timing as we had releases of equipment and 2023 was great for us. Now, renewing and rebooking for 2024 is a totally different scenario for us. We were really pleased with what happened at The Print Show 2023, we got good customer engagement, our staff really enjoyed it, and we’ve got some good leads and opportunities, and closed sales out of it. So, going into this year is a bit of a no-brainer for us really.” More information will be revealed about what Fujifilm will be bringing to The Print Show 2024 in the coming months. Fujifilm can be found on Stand E50. Fujifilm had the largest single stand in the history of The Print Show in 2023 Floor plan now 70% full With less than six months to go until The Print Show returns to the NEC in Birmingham, the floor plan is now over 70% full. Taking place from September 17th to 19th, the UK trade show for the print industry will be held in Hall 17 of the NEC. A number of returning exhibitors were quick to secure their place at the 2024 exhibition including long-time supporters such as Vivid Laminating Technologies, Encore Machinery, B&R Moll, The Online Print Coach, Venture Banners and VB Media, Aurora, Route1Print, Solopress, and more. New names on the floorplan this year include major manufacturers Agfa and swissQprint and the UK’s largest supplier of wide-format kit, cutters, and media, CMYUK. The exhibition hall is set to be filled with from all corners of the industry from manufacturers, suppliers and resellers, software providers, paper and media merchants, and trade printers. This means there will be plenty of opportunities for visitors to explore new technologies and gain the expertise and knowledge needed to grow their businesses.
