PrintMonthly printmonthly PrintMonthlyMagazine 30 email: news@printmonthly.co.uk March / April 2024 - Issue 347 OPPORTUNITIES, REVEALED AT FESPA GLOBAL PRINT EXPO With four co-locating events taking place this year, what advice would you give visitors wanting to get the most out of their experience? At FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, and the inaugural Sportswear Pro 2024 (RAI, Amsterdam, 19th to 22nd March), endless opportunities are waiting to be discovered. The exhibition will showcase the latest developments and innovations in wide format, digital, screen and textile printing, as well as interior décor, signage, personalisation and sportswear manufacturing. There’s a lot to discover and explore, so I would recommend visitors make the most of our available resources ahead of the show to plan their visit. We have dedicated event pages for all events, which feature the complete exhibitor list, details about the features and further information about the co-located events and conference programmes. Dedicated websites for FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience and Sportswear Pro are now live at http://www.fespaglobalprintexpo.com, http://www.europeansignexpo. com, www.personalisationexperience.com and https://www.sportswearpro.com/. Do you have any tips for firsttime visitors attending FESPA Global Print Expo and its co-locating events? I would always recommend that visitors attending a FESPA event for the first time explore all aspects of the exhibition. What sets our events apart is that we have an array of global vendors showcasing innovative solutions and vibrant applications, as well as a comprehensive content-led feature programme. Our features are always a personal highlight of mine and I recommend that first-time visitors take a look at what’s on offer. This year, in addition to our popular returning features Sustainability Spotlight and World Wrap Masters, we have two brand new ones. Located within European Sign Expo, the Digital Signage Lounge is a dedicated networking hub enabling visitors to explore the business opportunities associated with digital signage. The lounge will comprise With the 2024 edition of FESPA Global Print Expo and its three co-locating events set to take place in March, we caught up with Michael Ryan, head of FESPA Global Print Expo and Sportswear Pro to find out what to expect an array of digital screens and software, free industry expert workshops and fireside chats, as well as a networking area. Also new for 2024 is our Personalise Make Wear smart factory. Hosted by FESPA’s Textile Ambassador Debbie McKeegan, the feature will showcase personalised sportswear products. Visitors will be able to join a series of expert-guided end-to-end production tours of the latest technologies for personalised products, as well as fireside chats and daily runway shows. Is there any pre-show prep that you would advise visitors to do to make the most of their visit? We know visiting an exhibition can be overwhelming, and with four co-located events, over 480 confirmed exhibitors, thousands of products on show, and a series of features, there’s certainly a lot to be discovered in four days. That’s why last year, we launched the official “FESPA” event app, which is available free of charge to all our visitors. Our aim was to help visitors maximise their time at the show by planning ahead. The interactive platform provides a comprehensive overview of all our exhibitors, other visitors, and the official event agenda. In addition, there is also the option to use the scheduling and personalised diary functions to organise meetings with suppliers and bookmark relevant conference sessions. To download the official “FESPA” app on Apple devices, visit: https://page.swapcard. com/app/fespa/. Whether you’re seeking expansion into more sustainable production and materials, looking to understand how to capitalise on industry trends to convert them into business growth or participating in live product demos, there is something for everyone at our events! We look forward to welcoming the readers of Print Monthly to the RAI this March, and I hope to support them as they discover a wealth of opportunities! ◄ Michael Ryan, head of FESPA Global Print Expo and Sportswear Pro EVENTS - FESPA SPECIAL / NEWS
