MacroArt officially rebrands as Moss UK MacroArt, a wide-format and branding specialist, has officially rebranded to Moss UK after months of preparations following the acquisition of the company in November 2023. Based in Chicago, Illinois, Moss is a US producer of premium graphics, complex structures, and custom installations with operations also situated in Germany and Poland. Moss UK celebrated the name launch with the unveiling of its new branding across its site and online platforms as well as holding a celebratory lunch in its headquarters in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Michael Green, Moss UK’s managing director, says: "This signifies a new chapter for our business, and I am delighted that we have all been able to mark the launch of Moss in the UK. “As MacroArt, we did an amazing job of constantly expanding our presence and client portfolio. Now, as part of Moss, we’re ready to take the next step in that journey and we couldn't be more excited about our future!” (Below) The Moss UK team outside the newly branded UK headquarters Venture Banners is celebrating its 15th anniversary with investments in equipment, production space, and seven new team members. In total, the company has invested £400,000 into the business with a particular focus on new technology to expand its production capacity and optimise turnaround times. Venture Banners has invested in its third EFI VUTEk FabriVU, expanding the company’s textile printing capabilities. Venture Banners has also invested in a 3.2-metre-wide Zünd cutter, the business’ fourth Zünd device. Scott Conway, director and co-founder of Venture Banners, comments: “If you’d told me when we started Venture Banners in my garage 15 years ago that this is where we’d be today, I would have believed you. That is how sure we were that there was a gap in the market for making wide-format print services accessible to jobbing printers.” A member of the Venture Banners team with the EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340i+ Venture Banners marks its 15th anniversary Metamark commits to UK growth Metamark UK has continued its plans to expand the company internationally and grow specific revenue streams. At the start of the year, the company announced Phil Wild to the role of chief executive officer to enhance the company’s board ahead of continued growth. In alignment with the appointment, Paul French, Metamark’s previous chief executive officer has now assumed the role of executive chairman, retaining strategic oversight of the company. French led a management buyout (MBO) of Metamark in 2017 with the backing of Primary Capital and has since overseen profitable growth for the company in the UK and internationally. Metamark UK has also announced plans to launch “inventive” and “disruptive” new products and has recently introduced a number of new materials which have been welcomed by wrappers, décor specialists, and the automotive sector. The company has said it will continue to introduce products that benefit sign and graphic specialists. It has also signposted the expansion of its MetaStream programme, which allows Metamark and its customers to recycle production and recovered waste materials that have been printed and laminated for retired vehicle liveries.
